8/2/2019- Congratulations to our friend Kim at Money Pit Farms. Her junior doe Paxson Kidz Bling went Junior Grand Champion at the Ukiah County Fair. Bling is sired by Tres Rios O Midas Touch who is out of Cabrandywinfarms KR Tres Rios and sired by Tres Rios TC Ocotillo. 6/20/19- we welcomed an exciting new addition all the way from Washington - doeling, Leisure Time GQ Eris Luna aka “Luna” out of an extraordinary doe - SGCH Leisure Time TW MoondustMayhem 5*M sired by Leisure Time ZZ GQ *B. We have big plans for her in the future and are very grateful to Kristine At Leisure Time. 6/19/19- Congratulations to our friend Amy York - 2019 buckling Tres Rios Dontcha Trust Me Honey out of Alethia DOH Laced With Honey and sired by Tres Rios SW Pre-Nup joined the TUA Farm Herd in Washington state to begin work as a jr. herdsire. 6/8/19- Motherlode Dairy Goat Show, Angels Camp, Ca. Fun Size Farm’s Tessa Anderson showed her dry yearling Tres Rios Lily Was Here to GCH for her dry leg and her herd’s first grand champion. Congratulations Tessa and Lily. Lily is out of Tres Rios SW Milky Way and is sired by Tres Rios TC Ocotillo who will be paired again this next season as this pair like to throw kids with lots of general appearance, fabulous front ends, long level toplines, and excellent legs. 5/4/19- Paso Robles DGA Show- 2yo first freshener Alethia HB Cassiopia “TT” went Reserve again, this time under Jennifer Bice, she then won her age class under Matt Casselman. 2yo first freshener Tres Rios O Stillwatersrundeep “Wanda” finished 2nd in class right behind TT under Jennifer Bice, and then 4th in class under Judge Matt Casselman. Cabrandywinfarms KR Tres Rios needs some ring time before nationals so we took her as well- three weeks fresh and she didn’t bag up, but still managed 4th and 3rd in class placings this show. 4/28/19- Santa Barbara DGA Show results: 2yo FFs Alethia HM Cassiopia “TT” - Reserve under Judge Matt Casselman, and 4th in class under Sam Whiteside. -Tres Rios O Stillwatersrundeep “Wanda” finished 3rd in class under Matt Casselman and 2nd in class under Sam Whiteside. Lol. Much like her dam "Goldie" began her show career in 2017... 12/18/18. After Milky Way (Candy) received her star, her sire got his first + he is now: +*B GCH Algedi Farm JD Shotgun Wedding. Congrats to Gunner and Marie at Owlhaven. 12/18/18- We dried off the herd on 12/1 and today we got word that EVERY senior doe in the herd is now a Star milker They all got their advanced registry effective 12/18. -2*M Joyful Hearts CB Adelaide completed this lactation with more than 1200lbs of milk, 69lbs butterfat, and 45lbs of protein. 12/15/18- As our mentors and friends Dana and Kady of Alethia Homestead/Alitta have announced their plans to take some time off from breeding we are grateful to announce that Tres Rios O Stillwatersrundeep aka “Wanda” has come back home to our ranch where she has been reunited with her dam and siblings. She is bred and we are very excited about her upcoming first freshening. 8/25/18- Gold Country Dairy Goat Association Show, Stockton, CA- two Tres Rios born junior does had great showings for their first time in a ring and we introduced our latest and most promising baby doe to the ring too. Under judge Mark Baden Tres Rios HB Calamity Jane finished 2nd place behind Agape’s Prize Veil of Veronica, (and our newest baby doe Curbstone Valley Trillium out of the incredible SG Castle Rock Lotus 2*M came in at 4th place. In the next ring they swapped places 2nd and 4th again behind Veronica. Then, 2017 doe Tres Rios O Jacelynn Bywater placed 3rd under Mark Baden behind the doe who went on to win GCH, and that doe placed fourth behind her under Mark (a gorgeous gold Curbstone Valley Farm doe) went on to take GCH in the next ring. Both does were very strong and Jacelynn is very petite yet. I’m excited about her future as she continues to mature.
